Ultra rare official Manchester United crested size 5 football, hand signed in permanent black marker by members of Sir Alex Ferguson’s historic treble winning squad of 1998-99. Autographs include club captain Roy Keane, David Beckham (rare), Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt, Raimond van der Gouw, Henning Berg (signed twice), Denis Irwin, Quinton Fortune, Mark Bosnich, Teddy Sheringham, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (signed twice), Jordi Cruyff, Jaap Stam and Mikael Silvestre.
The football is in very good condition considering it is nearly 25 years old. Most importantly it fully inflates and holds the air as photographed. The is a small stitching split under Keane’s autograph as photographed. The autographs are bold and clear with just a small ink run from Sheringham’s signature.
Official certificates of authenticity were not issued by the club pre-2000 so the ball comes complete with COA issued by Footy Autographs and a complete signature map so that every autograph can be easily identified. A colour ‘copy version’ of the 98-99 Manchester United squad signature sheet is also included to further support autograph identification.
