Official Manchester United crested Nike size 5 football, hand signed in permanent black marker by members of Alex Ferguson’s 1997-98 Manchester United 1st team squad. Autographs include David Beckham (Rare), Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Denis Irwin, Brian McClair, Michael Clegg, Ronny Johnsen, John Curtis, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Henning Berg, Gary Neville (faint), Phil Neville, Peter Schmeichel, Raimond van der Gouw and David May.
The football was originally a competition prize run by Manchester United FC on Sunday 4th October, 1997, on the day of Premiership Match v Crystal Palace at Old Trafford. The ball comes complete with COA issued by Footy Autographs and a complete signature map so that every autograph can be easily identified. The official matchday programme from the match is also included along with the original photo proof of the ball being presented by club legend Wilf McGuinness.
Considering the football is 27 years old it is in excellent condition as photographed, fully inflating and holding the air.
